Another Five Star Stories kit. This one's from my own stash though, not a commission. This kit originally came out in the mid 90s I think, but I think it holds up well. Pretty simple with not too many parts, but the proportions are nice.
The pose is from a scene in the manga where he's just defeated King Colus's Mortar Headd Junchoon (or so he believes). The sword sticking in the ground is from the Junchoon, although that's not "manga accurate". The Junchoon didn't even have its sword equipped in the manga.. *whoops*.. but I thought it'd look cool and add a bit more mystery or story to the base. The nameplate, Fillmore Empire emblem and Junchoon sword were 3d modeled and printed by me. I'm still kind of a noob at 3d modeling, but i'm pretty happy with the way both turned out.
